Deputy Chiefs
Deputy Chiefs and Chief Deputies have one of the most challenging roles in public safety. You have to be there for your people, guiding, leading and coaching them to success; but also, you need to be able to work with your boss and others at the county or city level to make the big and often unpopular decisions that directly affect those you lead. It’s a fine balancing act to be between all your staff and all those above you. Being in these roles undoubtedly creates a sense of isolation, stress and loneliness. Until now there hasn’t been a safe and confidential space where you can go to vent/complain, seek out support or help, obtain guidance and mentorship, ask all the questions you have always wanted to ask, develop new relationships and fellowship, brainstorm with colleagues about HR and operational challenges, share information on policy/procedure and upcoming legislation, and discuss vendor recommendations.Â
- Support, validation, and a community of others who can truly relate

Chief Brice Current
Durango Police Department
“The networking opportunities alone have been worth the membership. Still, the value lies in the shared wisdom, the personal peer support, and the continual learning in every conversation”.Â

Chief Eric S. Sonstegard
Edgewater Police Department
“As a new police chief, I faced a myriad of issues transitioning from a large agency to a small agency as well as tackling issues for the first time as THE Chief. The Chief’s Circle allowed me to grow a network of contacts up and down the state that I could listen to and learn from. Candidly, it’s kind of cathartic to hear other Chiefs lament about problems they’re dealing with and know that you’re not the only one dealing with some of those things”.

Chief Dale E. Meek "Gene"
Wrangell Police Department
“I will remain a member of this wonderful program for as long as I carry the mantle of “Chief” and would encourage all who lead to join and share in a positive culture of mutual emotional support.”

So, what's the investment?
While programs of this nature would typically be upwards of $4,000-$8,000 annually, this is not what you’re going to invest...
I’ve priced the 2025 Circles at $2,100 ($175/month, paid annually for 12 months from the date of registration).
 No, that’s not a typo.
I want this to be a no-brainer and support you in a wholehearted yes to receiving all the benefits of being a member.
