The Chiefs' Circle

Police Chiefs face one of the nation's most challenging roles. The landscape of law enforcement has been transformed by societal tensions, civil unrest, and evolving community expectations. In this high-pressure environment, Chiefs need a space where they can be authentic, unwind, and find genuine connection. In addition, Chiefs have access to direct mentorship, cutting-edge training with CEU’s, and discussion of policies, procedures, new legislation, vendor recommendations, and more for navigating complex times.

The Chiefs’ Circle is an innovative program developed and led by police psychologist Dr. Kimberly Miller and the Colorado Chiefs’ Association that provides members with a space to receive:

  • Support, validation, and a community of others who can truly relate
  • Immediate access to Dr. Miller for urgent or time-sensitive matters
  • Brainstorming sessions on new approaches for policing
  • Peer insights about innovative technology and the latest best practices
  • Training and CEUs on leading-edge, essential topics
  • Perspectives on vendors and products
  • Proven strategies to thrive under pressure, avoid burnout, and prioritize your wellness
  • Realistic and sustainable self-care practices to build long-term resilience

Chief Brice Current

Durango Police Department

“The networking opportunities alone have been worth the membership. Still, the value lies in the shared wisdom, the personal peer support, and the continual learning in every conversation”.

Chief Eric S. Sonstegard

Edgewater Police Department

“As a new police chief, I faced a myriad of issues transitioning from a large agency to a small agency as well as tackling issues for the first time as THE Chief. The Chief’s Circle allowed me to grow a network of contacts up and down the state that I could listen to and learn from. Candidly, it’s kind of cathartic to hear other Chiefs lament about problems they’re dealing with and know that you’re not the only one dealing with some of those things”.

Chief Dale E. Meek "Gene"

Wrangell Police Department

“I will remain a member of this wonderful program for as long as I carry the mantle of “Chief” and would encourage all who lead to join and share in a positive culture of mutual emotional support.”

So, what's the investment?

While programs of this nature would typically be upwards of $4,000-$8,000 annually, this is not what you’re going to invest...

I’ve priced the 2025 Chiefs’ Circle at $2,100 ($175/month, paid annually for 12 months from the date of registration).

 No, that’s not a typo.

I want this to be a no-brainer and support you in a wholehearted yes to receiving all the benefits of being a member.
